I was recruited for an early morning airport drop off for today - if you can call it today, it still feels like last night. I couldn't fall asleep (no big surprise there) so I got up and worked on Full Sail till about 3:30am. Next thing I know the alarm is going off at 5:45am. Ouch. Most weekends I would say that say getting up before 10am is against my religion, unless I'm going to play a volleyball tournament. Somehow I managed to get up and make the drop at the airport right on time baby! Then I got back home and got right back to work. Crazy, I know, but I have so much I want to do for this gig I'm on and time during the week is tight with all the work at Wiretree. Got to go.

Tonight I went to my first ever surprise party. You know like the ones you see on TV where everyone is really quiet until the guest of honor arrives - Surprise! Everyone shouts and laughs, pretty good stuff when you really catch the person off gaurd (even better when you capture it on video like I did). Jeff Askew, a good friend and one of the co-founders at Wiretree along with Matt turns 35 this Saturday. Thanks for the chips - have a great birthday Skew.

Just did the walkthrough on my loft. Finally I'm buying the place and not throwing away money on just rent. Once all the contracts are signed on the 17th and the deed is done I have some plans for changing up the space a bit. I'll grab some photos of the construction if I ever get to that point after all this mortgage action gets in order. The other house project is to finish up the installation of my home theater. I got all the speakers and the projector mounted to the ceiling, man that was a chore. The ceiling is slab concrete and 15 feet high, so when your at the top of a ladder with a hammer drill for half a day it gets hard to lift your arm up at all.

I'd like to introduce Cooper.

Long day of meetings today, but it seemed the we gained some traction on all accounts. Paul at work nabbed a demo of Mafia - whoa, you got to check this one out. The opening menu selection screen made me think about how great it will be to produce web projects for true highbandwidth. When is that going to come through? Well, the phones are catching up within the next year or two with 3G technology - let's hope the base of high speed surf keeps growing. To end it up tonight I thought I would throw in a few image bits to get this going.

Late night and looking through info on Tivo. Might be another device that sucks up all my time, like that XboX! So, many things I'm working on that get left out to dry because I'm chasing aliens in Halo. Namely my sites just don't get the attention I need to put into them - trust me I hear the gripes from Todd about in10 every other day. If I stopped dreaming up and creating new project ideas every week I could possibly finish one up and launch it for real. My list of URLs alone tells you that I love to conjure new ideas. Currently there is a master plan I'm working on that will tie a lot of my previous personal projects and wishlist ideas together into something very cool. I'm keeping it under wraps for now as I develop the basis. Sounds like a plan.

Looks like I'm going to score a new snowboard from Thomas at Stratosphere just in time for my trip out to Tahoe this year. Can't wait to get out in the snow again. I get braver every year and try new tricks till my body can't bend anymore. Last year I started doing the Black Diamonds and that was so much fun. If your hitting the mountains this year you have to go snowmobiling! I had a blast doing that.

Night of new hardware. Went out and grabbed a FireWire drive today after a voodoo experience with Cisco VPN Client roasting my box. I didn't lose anything, but I'm backing up everything anyway. Amoung the purchase was another cradle for my Sony CLIE - PEG-NX70v - I'm very much attached to this device. You'll see what it sees throughout this blog from time to time.

Start the lights on the dope show. This is my first post to this online archive of my life in digits - random happenings and plenty of imagery and links to dive into. I'm going to paste my happenings good, bad and ugly. Come along for the ride.
