Packing in a mad frenzy for the trip to Vegas. Gear was the first thing packed so that I will be able to bring back part of the experience. Really looking forward to taking some photos on the strip of all the signs and chaos. Lets hope I have enough battery power and brought the right power adapters for everything. Xmas in Vegas, this is going to be interesting.

From Vegas I'm heading to Tahoe with my brother for 3 to 4 days of snow boarding. Ready for some black diamond country. Hope to grab some 1st person motion of a trip down the slope with the spy cam (we'll see how rough it is, since that camera doesn't have any stabilizer). Happy Holidays to everyone out there. Cheers.

I closed on my Loft yesterday. Heavy amount of paper work and you get to practice your signature quite a bit - I guess they think now that you own a piece of property you will be instantly famous and need to sign a bunch of stuff for people. So, today I walked around with a pen in my back pocket. Not a single fan, not yet - but I'm not going to give up so easy.

The Loft building is old and pretty raw, which is great. It is a converted warehouse and all the units reflect that with exposed brick walls and those great warehouse windows that swing open with the big metal bar to hold them open.

My years of strategic gadget collecting have finally paid off. I am now a walking production unit (lacking just a few pieces of the puzzle). An essential piece of incredible gear has been locked into the vault. Say hello to D100 (Nikon D100). Drawing from many sources to make this happen, I went head first into the Pro Digital world of photography. For what seems like a decade I have been using a Kodak DC260. It was always a pretty decent camera, but it was easy to see where it lacked. Now that I have brought a pro camera into the mix - there are so many options and ways to shoot that it has consumed me since the purchase. Drawing from my training in Film (Motion Picture Film) I am running all over looking for shots and remembering the world of lighting, F-stops and lenses. It is a good time.

Here are a few...

That makes three digital cameras in the house -
1. Nikon D100 - (pro, high-res at 6.1 mp)
2. Sony Clie NX70 V/U - (spy cam, secret snapper)
3. Kodak DC260 - (old school starter)

Looks like ebay will be hearing from me soon.

Ok, this is very cool. Google brings us Froogle! A service you must check out, with google speed and accuracy you can't go wrong. Look up anything and it will pull back pictures, prices and stores - from there you can even place the price range you want and filter down from there. Hello - Google, I just wanted to let you know that you are good!
