I'm off to volleyball, need some exercise. It is 15 degrees here and weather.com says "Feels like: 6 degrees." They aren't kidding - what is the deal with that - just too cold. Time to start thinking about the west coast agian. San something on the west side must be nice right about now.

Much love.

My portfolio site, FreshPixels, has been picked up and broadcasted across a bunch of great design boards. Design is Kinky, DigitalAbstracts, FWA, Digital Evolutions, Pixel Surgeon, Half Project and Moluv. I wanted to send some people back their way - so if you are in need of inspiration check out these portals.

Working late at Wiretree tonight on a big presentation. Hope this can bring us a steady flow of work in the coming year.

Stood in line at a fast food ("fast") joint tonight with Todd for about 10 minutes. It was really slow, but you could tell the guy working was new and didn't know what was going on yet. Todd said something that I thought made a lot of sense. If you ever start to lose it waiting in line - before you wig out - just think of how that person behind the counter feels. They don't want the customer there any longer than you want to be there. Don't give them a hard time. Give them a break.

I'm back from one of the best trips in a long time. The Wiretree retreat to EagleView Manor was incredible. Everyone had such a great time and took away some great memories. It is funny how we all get along - Matt put it this way - "We are like a sitcom, how many other people work with each other day in and out and then want to go spend a weeks vacation with those same people!" But that is just it, we are lucky enough to have a great team. No doubt I have a bucket of photos from the trip. I'll be putting together a site of all the action soon (I'm sure my mom is going to want to see all sights that we visited).

As for more famous people in town for Sundance - we saw Willem Dafoe, Robert Downy Jr. and William H. Macy. All seemed pretty normal to us, they were just shopping around like everybody else there.
