My first night in San Fran I saw Macromedia, Mondo Media, The Pixar area (not their building exactly) and many more big companies. Today I visited Yahoo! My brother works there - or should I say vacations there. I mean damn - the place is insane. Way nice. They have the nicest cafeteria I have ever seen, it is called URL's (or phonetically EARLS). There was a basketball court and no kidding some of the nicest sand volleyball courts I've seen in a while. They were practically pro.

Not sure how they get an work done - people were playing pool and foos ball all over the place. But, they do have a cafe/coffee shop in every campus building to keep you pumped and wired up for clicking. Incredible. My working at a 4 person company and then coming to this (just one of their campus locations) 3,000 person deal is a real eye opener. Whoa.

I'm outta here. Leaving for San Francisco today! Taking a break from things and going to hang out with my bro. I'm planning to take a lot of pictures of the city and surroundings. I've seen some beautiful photography from the bay area (not just the sites, but general city living areas). Going surfing on Sunday and maybe Monday as well. Bringing the crashcam with me (my old camera) to capture some of that adventure.

The only projects I'm taking with me are Wiretree internal things that I just want to get done. So, I won't work too much out there - that is the point, right?

Great news! My methodmedia site has been selected to be published in one of TASCHEN's new books. The book is titled: Taschen's 1000 Favorite Websites. Comes with a DVD. When it gets published grab it up. I'm stoked. I have always wanted to be in one of those books - the kind you pick up at borders and just flip through.

Another bad haircut today.

Got to relax for an entire weekend. Tried to delete a lot of the junk mail on my machine. I could sit there all day and hit delete, delete, delete - and still be amazed at the amount of junk mail still left in my inbox. Insane. Also makes me wonder why I don't just select all and delete the entire inbox... I seem to have so many things to follow up on that I just keep them in there to get to another day. I do sometimes get to them, so that is a good thing.

Fathers day today (half hour ago anyway). Talked to my dad and all the stuff I found for him got there on time for the big day.

Lights out here.
