WDCF's relaunch of F:E:D (fresh electronic delivery) has been amazing. I sent out the first issue and with no other advertising and barely a site behind it I have lots of signup requests. Cool, because that means people are forwarding it to their friends. Issue 0002 is on the way, so if you want to be down with with the next drop, get to it.
I'm carving out some time to build out the WDCF site. It is big endeavor, because of the growth of the site. Every month there are new items added in various ways. So, I'm breaking down the repeat areas and trying to design a system around it to pull everything through flash (if possible). I'm sure it is possible... I'm just looking at it from a "getting it done perspective." I'm going for smart and snazzy on this one.
This weekend was very relaxing. I saw some movies, got some things cleaned up around the loft and just had some time to chill out from a busy week. Lots going on at Wiretree, our Nashville trip was a good one. The weather driving up was perfect. Cruising through the mountains with small waterfalls trickling down was a refreshing sight.
While waiting for one of our meetings to start Jeff and I were hanging out at a restaurant (outside on the patio portion). We overhead a conversation of an upcoming & trying to get a start artist (a singer). She had both of her parents sitting on her side of the table with her and she was meeting with her PR type person. We aren't that nosey, but the PR lady asked her to demo her voice - so this girl just started singing. She was pretty good, that is when we started listening in a bit. Now that I think about it I had my Clie with me... I should have snapped a quick photo and got her used to popper-ot-zi. Just outside of Nashville is a great little curved stretch of road that leads you to Anderson Road. Todd, I had no idea you had property in Tennessee.
