Today was the big day. I have been holding back this news until it was actually a reality. Closed on Loft 303! I bought the loft that I've been in for about 4 years last December (I'm currently in Loft 304) and we just bought the unit next door to mine to knock the common wall down and combine them for some serious square footage. This makes the home two bedroom, two bath, and two kitchen (for the time being). A whole-lotta-space.

Let the construction begin (hello, home depot - yeah it's me again... I forgot to get one last thing). I have been working on plans for the overall design of the home and now it is time to get the first phase into action. I'm sure I'll keep the progress documented here on the blog... many photos to come. This is going to be great.

Had a Big Mac today. It made me realize that I haven't been to McDonalds in suuuuch a long time. I don't mind it at all, but for some reason I just always skip it for something else. Sorry, but Ronald is a scary looking character. They have a one color print of him on the side of their bags and it is just not right.

My dad just got in town. Scooped him up from the airport a little while ago.

Did some renegade photo shoots this weekend. It's funny that you really don't see a lot of photos from inside a grocery store. Doesn't look like it does when you are there. Well, here you go.

Read a great book this weekend. It was one of those books that every page made sense about some portion of your life. I'll be sure to pass it on.

Sunday is here and I'm looking forward to getting things organized around the house. Such a hectic schedule with work has steered a tornado through my home. Scraps of paper are everywhere, magazines, clothes, countless mail items are strewn about my kitchen counter. Dishes are now glued to the sink itself and have sat there so long they have begun to name one and other - I believe they are planning an escape soon and I must act quickly (they are growing too smart).
