Apple manifesto,
To the Crazy ones.

Here's to the crazy ones.
The misfits. The rebels.
The troublemakers.
The round pegs in the square holes.
The ones who see things differently.

They're not fond of rules.
And they have no respect for the status quo.

You can praise them, disagree with them,
quote them, disbelieve them,
glorify them or vilify them.
About the only thing you can't do is ignore them.
Because they change things.
They invent. They imagine.
They heal. They explore.
They create. They inspire.
They push the human race forward.

Maybe they have to be crazy.
How else can you stare at an empty frame
and see a work of art?
Or sit in silence and hear a song
that's never been written?
Or touch a rock on a planet
where no one else has ever stood?

We make tools for these kinds of people.
Because while some see them as the crazy ones,
we see genius.

And it's the people who are crazy enough to think
they can change the world,
who actually do.

Think different...

We are having Totem spray our conference room. What does that mean, well Totem is a very talented artist who does grafitti, murals, you name it, all over the world. We are opening the Wiretree conference room to him to his vision. He is going to deck out the walls in a Tiki theme. Volcanos, tikis, palm trees - oh my. It is pretty crazy. He just started tonight. Hope that it goes over well with our visitors, we wanted to set ourselves (way) apart from the rest of the crowd. We want to have people walk out and never forget our conference room.

I'm nervous about it, but at the same time it is going to be fun to get the reactions from people. I'm doing time lapse photography of Totem as he is painting - that should be a trip.

Pulling in links for the next issue of F:E:D (issue #3). Got some great things lined up. Never ceases to amaze and inspire me that there is so much great design and creative work out there. It is an interesting collective of people who pour their heart and a lot of their time into these projects. For the most part you can tell when they really love doing what they are doing.

Some interesting insights. What if corporations were as passionate as artists? What is they all had workers who would stay up all night just to figure something out? What if they cared so much about their projects that they became personal to them?
