School of Rock was awesome! Go see it. One of Jack Black's masterpieces - no doubt about it. He is perfect for the role, I can't imagine any other actor on the planet that could have kept the level of performance that JB did.

Ok, I have to say it. I love Apple. I'm just sitting here giggling at how cool this iPod device is. I'm blown away by the packaging, unwrapping, pluging in, zapping all my music (9GB) to the device in minutes, clicking a button and playing music. Who else on the planet does stuff at this level of ease and beauty? My hat is off to the design and engineering team behind this product.

Hello iPod. Welcome to the family. I finally bought one - grabbed the 30 GB version because they are phasing that model out and I got a discount! Now I'm set to bring mp3's everywhere - especially the CAR! That is the whole reason I picked this up, to rid the ride of all CD's laying all over the place.

So much to do all over again. In one of those periods of time where I work all day (and some night) and get seem to wipe any projects off the board. Just keep chugging away. This Friday is a big day for these ongoing projects - lots of things are set to be due and turned loose. Can't wait for that.

Also finally switched over to my new system at work. Kind of funny really, because it isn't even a new computer. But hey - it is faster than what I was on - so I'm there. Lots of work to move everything (migrate) to a new box. Still missing address book (as I found out tonight). Now I have both systems sittings under my desk side by side. So I'll keep the old one for AFX & 3DS renders and what not.

Getting some motion on the loft construction, but still some weeks must pass and many decisions need to get made before things really get underway.

Good weekend. Caught a great fight scene in The Rundown movie. Some guy gets whacked in the face with a baseball swing of a log from the fire. Ouch. Got a few more things done for work. Had some great pizza (always a good weekend checkpoint on the list). Got more thoughts together. Researched some design stuff I've been wanting to look into (surprized that I didn't find a lot of what I was looking for just yet). Watched my cat terrorize the house by running full speed laps around the place for no apparent reason.
