I'm watching TV on this VAIO computer. Live TV - the thing basically has TIVO-like system built into it. Sick. It is really cool. I'm impressed and ready to go finally hook mine up at home. All this time I've had GigaPocket and never knew it was a TIVO! Hello - where did that marketing message go... I own the damn thing and never knew that is what I had all this time.

I'm up in VA and logging in here on a brand new Sony VAIO Desktop we just hooked up for my Dad. It is a sweet setup (making me jealous, I must admit). We went crazy and geeked this thing out - 3.2 gigahertz, 2 gig of ram extra 200 gig hard drive! The idea is to create a video editing system with plenty of storage for daddy-o to crank out some DVDs of all the video footage he has grabbed over the years. You can even use this computer like a Tivo and record TV on it! Should be a lot of fun for him.

People tell me I work all the time. I do. It is not just work for me... a lot of the time... in the work that I do I'm crafting ideas and bringing them to a state of visualization that others can experience. Something in that makes me want to be doing it all the time. Bringing out the resolution in whatever way it finds itself - scattered to coherent, calm to chaos or chaos to frenzy. Giving ideas & thoughts a means from which to speak from. It doesn't exist [if it did what would it look like, what would it say, why would it say it and who is it trying to communicate with]... yet. It is a way to escape and be found at the same time.
