"Be true to yourself. You have a signature, your signature will come out."
- I.M. Pei

I watched a DVD on I.M. Pei tonight and found it very inspiring. His words looking back on a past project mimic a lot of my views on building new ones. We work in different mediums, but share similar visions. It is nice to watch something like this and hear from the artist himself.

We finished the Digital Signage video at 1:30am! There was a round of machine freakouts and render tricks we had to get through. Then we pumped it into the Sony NSP and boo-yah - done deal. Then I had to make the drop. Meaning... I had to drive it to the client at 2 in the morning (just as it started to snow flurry) for an airplane ride that same morning to New York! Whoa. That is worse than any Delta dash story I've heard. The thing looks great and Todd and I both had the energy to stick it out and make it right. Way to go T!

Do you know what this is? Most people haven't seen it yet. This is the software interface to the Sony NSP. A network server playback device. We are using it at Wiretree on a digital signage gig. It's cool because it is connected to a network so you can trigger it, change playlist, broadcast urgent messages or whatever to the tv it is jacked into from any connected desktop through this little app. Oh, and most of the stuff is in Japanese when you go sub level in menu setups - this product is straight from overseas!

Another really late night. Todd is still up at work on the video stuff. So much to get done this month, I'm looking forward to being focused on one project next week and taking it as far as I can get. There was a big crunch this week for the eDiets tour. We made the deadline - but I'm beat from bouncing through 3 different heavy projects.

Due to the removal of the main adjoining wall (the yellow one), all my desk and all the computer gear had to be moved. Man that is a lot of stuff. Lucked out and was able to scoot and push the desk with all wires still hanging on for dear life.

Catch the cat. The place is a disaster zone. Sanding the ceiling and back wall produces quite the good mess. Winter wonder land of white dust everywhere.
