Tonight was the big show in Dallas, The Addys. It was like star treatment on this trip (including all the interviews they would have to do) complete with a stretch limo to drive us around. The Full Sail camera crew was with us to document the ocasion and catch all those crazy moments. The team behind the scene was Jay, Tom & Bruce (aka WADE or arenaROCK) - they were a blast. They walked through the airport with bright yellow camera cases announcing that they were carrying human organs - lips and noses to be specific. Too funny.

Welcome to the family. My new camera the Sony T1. Bought this for the Dallas trip as I wanted to grab a ton of photos, but not lug my big D100 around the show floor and risk losing it. This was the perfect choice. 5.1 mega pixels, the size of a credit card and fits right in your pocket. Also, after experimenting... this little can capture video segments at a really nice resolution! It really pack a punch for a little camera - I'm quite happy to call him my own.

These are the cats that are following me around today. So far so good. It is funny doing an interview - especially one that lasts all day! I have no clue what I'm saying, but I have to trust that the power of video editing will come through and make a semi-interesting story.

Today should be interesting. I was up till about 2am moving computer equipment (again) to the new desk and trudging through the task of wiring all the gear back up. In this configuration all the wiring will be hidden, so I have holes cut into a false backing wall that drop through the wall, down through the floor and then wrap up under the floor boards to finally sneak inside different cabinet areas to find the secret CPU drawer and stereo shelving. Looks like it is all going to work to plan, but it has been difficult to visualize what needs to go where and in what order.

Now on to the interesting part. There is a film crew from Full Sail that has flown in to Atlanta to follow me around for a day resulting in a multipart video interview. Some what like MTV diaries. Crazy. I'll be sure to snap a photo of them running around town.

This is me under the platform pulling wires through the walls.

When you work with people like this it is no wonder that coming to work is always a good time. This is T-Dog sporting his prosthetic teeth.

The Ron Mac site that we produced at Wiretree has been kicking some butt out there. It won the FWA award and just got the Bombshock today! We went out to lunch to celebrate the hoopla and we ran into Ron Mac at the restaurant! He was doing a photo shoot with two swimsuit models - he doesn't have such a bad gig. He was supposed to be on TV tonight, I should see a cut of the show tomorrow.

Volleyball fuel. I didn't get to capture a bunch of photos at the national tournament this year. Next year I'll be sure to be more prepared for capturing the magic.

Self-cleaning glass. The Pilkington Activ glass has a special nano-scale - extremely thin - coating of microcrystalline titanium oxide which reacts to daylight. This reaction breaks down filth on the glass, with no need for detergent. When water hits it, a hydrophilic effect is created, so water and dirt slides off.

Apple introduces AirPort Express. This is similar to what I'm doing at home with the SqueezeBox's I have. Apple's new device doesn't have an interface or remote to directly access music from remote locations, but still makes it easy to jump the gap!

I finally ran the batch to make this time-lapse from my vacation at EagleView last year. It is a sunrise to sunset session over the Jordendalle River in Utah. See the motion here.
